About the Realie MCP Server

The product MCP server exposes live property lookup, search, parcel, location, comparables, and owner tools over Streamable HTTP. Add the URL with no API key. The host completes Clerk OAuth (DCR + PKCE). MCP URL: https://app.realie.ai/api/mcp Do not put an API key in the URL or in mcp.json. initialize and tools/list work without a token. tools/call returns HTTP 401 with WWW-Authenticate pointing at protected-resource metadata.

https://docs.realie.ai/mcp is Mintlify documentation search only. It cannot return property records. Use https://app.realie.ai/api/mcp for property data.

How to connect

Add https://app.realie.ai/api/mcp as a Streamable HTTP MCP server.
Complete Clerk sign-up or sign-in in the browser (accounts.realie.ai).
If this is a new Realie account, add a payment method at the dashboard. OAuth does not mint an API key. Property calls need a billed user.

Add a custom connector

Open Connectors in Claude settings.
Select Add custom connector.
Name: Realie
URL: https://app.realie.ai/api/mcp
Select Add. Do not paste an API key.

Enable the Realie connector in a chat.
Complete Clerk consent when prompted.
Call address_lookup or property_search.

Open MCP settings

Use Command + Shift + P (Ctrl + Shift + P on Windows).
Search for Open MCP settings.
Select Add custom MCP.

Call address_lookup or property_search. Cursor opens Clerk OAuth. After consent, the tools return property data.

Add a custom connector

Open grok.com/connectors.
Select New Connector, then Custom.
URL: https://app.realie.ai/api/mcp
Complete Clerk sign-in when prompted. Do not paste an API key.

Call a tool

Ask Grok a property question, for example “Look up 415 Mission St, San Francisco, CA and give me its assessed value.” Grok lists the Realie tools and calls address_lookup.

On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin must add the connector in the xAI console before members can use it.

Server-side calls to Grok can use Realie as a remote MCP tool. Pass your Realie API key in authorization; OAuth is not used here.

Authentication

MCP hosts authenticate with Clerk OAuth. Do not register an OAuth app in the Clerk dashboard. Hosts discover Realie’s authorization server and register themselves (DCR). OAuth discovery:

After OAuth, MCP keeps the Clerk access token. REST and CI still use Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. The CLI path realie login uses the same Clerk window, then stores the existing API key.
